This meticulously crafted medallion features a unique spinning disc on an axle, allowing the front-facing view to change effortlessly. One side showcases the iconic Royal Australian Air Force Spitfire, adorned with distinctive black and white stripes hastily painted to aid in allied identification during the chaos of battle. On the reverse side, the HMS Kingsmill (technically known as K 484), one of the Royal Navy's valiant warships that Royal Australian Navy officers served on during the historic Battle of Normandy on 6 June 1944. Limited to 500 medallions.
